The Mount Guiting-Guiting Natural Park is also home to what is considered as one of the densest forests in the world, making it one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet. It is towering 2058 meters above sea level, and the heart of Sibuyan Island. It is home to a myriad of plants and animals, of which many are found only on the island.

Be enchanted by its majestic crown-like crest or jagged peak which is visible only on early mornings and late afternoons.

GUIDELINES FOR VISITORS
  • Secure a Visitor's Entry Permit from the Office or at the entrance gate of the Park.
  • Allow Park Officers to inspect luggage and items brought inside.
  • Stay strictly on the trail because the soil is fragile.
  • Camp only in designated campsites in order to preserve the vegetation.
  • Bring warm clothing and rain gears. If you plan to camp, make sure you have harm sleeping bag and a tent.
  • Bring some drinking water. There are many springs but these are quite far from the trails.
  • Light fires only in designated areas. Ensure that fires are properly extinguished after use.
  • Bring a gas stove as gathering of firewood is prohibited.
  • Take your own garbage outside the Park and dispose it in designated bins / pits.
  • Request Guides (Porters are also available upon request) 
  • Do not venture along riverbeds because flash floods may occur without any warning.
  • Do not build structures of any kind.
  • Help us preserve biodiversity by not hunting wildlife or collecting plants.
  • Do not vandalize, engrave nor write on trees and walls; deface facilities; and damage boundary markers and Park signs.
  • Do not take drugs and hard liquor, gamble or be rowdy inside the Park.

Group of five: Php 200.00, Php 20.00 per added pax
Educational Tour, group of fifty: Php 500.00, Php 10.00 per added pax

(Group) - Non-Residents
Group of five: Php 400.00, Php 40.00 per added pax
Educational Tour, group of fifty: Php 1,000.00, Php 20.00 per added pax

LOCAL GUIDES: Php 100.00
LOCAL PORTER: Php 800.00

GETTING THERE:
Typical Mountaineers start hiking from Tampayan- Mayo's Peak trail. Mountaineers are required to secure visitors entry permit in the Protected Area Office before entering the park to control and minimize human impact in the park.
